# SensorFlight FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SensorFlight professional drone services, certifications and deliverables. Contact: info@sensorflight.com

## Are you certified drone operators?
Yes. SensorFlight is EASA A1/A2/A3 and AESA certified. We operate in full compliance with EU Regulation 2019/947 and carry full civil liability insurance.

## How accurate are your drone topographic surveys?
Our drone topographic surveys reach a horizontal accuracy below 2 cm using ground control points (GCP). We can cover up to 200 hectares per flight day.

## Which countries and regions do you operate in?
We are based in Madrid and operate throughout Spain and the European Union. Through our partner network, we also cover projects in Turkey and the Middle East.

## What is a drone thermographic inspection?
An aerial thermographic inspection uses a thermal camera mounted on a drone to detect temperature anomalies in solar plants, rooftops, electrical or industrial infrastructure. It identifies faulty modules, heat losses or hotspots with no need for physical access.

## How long does a drone surveying project take to deliver?
Draft deliverables (orthophoto, point cloud, DTM) are delivered within 24 hours after the flight. The full validated report is delivered in 48 to 72 hours depending on project complexity.

## What is the difference between photogrammetry and LiDAR?
Photogrammetry builds 3D models from overlapping aerial photos and is ideal for open terrain. LiDAR emits laser pulses that penetrate vegetation and tree canopy, so it captures the real ground beneath vegetation cover. We select the most suitable technology for each project.
